Quote the price you agreed, and invoice that same price

Quotations now hold the price you agreed with each customer, so the invoice matches what they were promised.

Quote the price your customer agreed

Set your own price on a quotation line

Type the price you agreed on any line, the same way you ring up a sale at the till. Leave it blank to use your usual price.

Go back to the usual price in one click

When a line has a custom price, your usual price shows under it. Reset puts the line back to it.

See the right total before you send it

The totals on the quotation are the totals your customer will be billed.

Bill the price you quoted

Invoices match the quotation

When you turn a quotation into an invoice, the customer is billed the price you quoted, not your usual price.

Pricing stays in your control

You decide who can change prices

Only the people you allow can set a custom price. Selling below cost needs a separate permission, which you choose whether to give.

A saved price is kept when the quote is updated

Changing the quantity on an existing quotation does not wipe out a price a manager already set.

GetBizApps attendance fixes for shifts, half-days and resignations

Four attendance fixes shipped on 5 October. Each one makes the records match the rules you set.

Approved shift changes take effect on their start date

An approved permanent shift change now starts on time without anyone having to apply it by hand.

Checked every 15 minutes

The system looks for approved permanent shift changes whose start date has arrived and applies the latest one for each employee.

Dated changes are left alone

A change with an end date is not made permanent by this process.

Shift rotation follows your office-open days

Set your office days once, and the rota follows them.

One source for office days

The shift rotation calendar uses the office-open days set in Attendance Settings. The organisation defaults on the work schedules screen now show those days read-only, with a pointer to Attendance Settings.

Closed days are blocked

A shift cannot be added on a closed day. Copying a week skips closed days and shows a message.

The edit shift form saves cleanly

Saving a rota shift without changing its times no longer fails with a time-format error.

Half-day marking and a clear message for employees without a shift

A half day is measured from shift start

The half-day threshold is judged against when the shift starts, so a late arrival past that threshold is recorded as a half day.

A clear message when there is no shift

If an employee has no shift for the day, clocking in shows "Shift is not assigned for today." Nothing is recorded until a shift is assigned.

Accepted or rejected resignations stay locked

A decided resignation should stay decided. It now does.

Edit and Delete appear only while pending

The Edit and Delete options appear only for resignations still waiting for a decision.

Decided resignations are refused even if changed directly

If someone tries to change or delete a decided resignation another way, the system refuses and says it can no longer be edited or deleted.

Attendance rules now apply to every way of clocking in

Your attendance rules were not applied in every case. They are now.

Attendance rules hold on every way of clocking in

Allowed networks are checked for QR scans

A scan at the office screen used to skip the network check. Now an employee outside your allowed networks is refused.

The same check runs on every route

Website, mobile app and QR clock-ins all go through the same network check.

The Clock In button returns on the dashboard

After an employee clocks out, the Clock In button comes back as long as they have check-ins left under your daily limit. Before, it stayed hidden after the first clock-out.

Check your audience and stop a message reaching someone you don't want to contact

Before you send a campaign, you can now see everyone it will reach. A campaign that has not started used to show only a short sample. Now the full list appears, and you can see whether each person can receive that channel. You know exactly who will get your message before it goes out.

Sometimes you pause a campaign but one person on the list should no longer get it. While the campaign is paused, you can remove just that person. Open the campaign, find them, and remove them. They will not receive the message, and everyone else on the list is unaffected.

This works only for people who have not been sent the message yet, so you are stopping a message that has not gone out.

Google Meet updates: guest invites, calendar sync and narrower access

Google Meet meetings are now easier to share with clients, kept in step with your calendar, and set to the right time.

Invite guests and sync meetings to Google Calendar

Invite people outside your company by email

Google Meet meetings can now include guests from outside your team. In the meeting form, type an email address under External Attendee Email and click Add. Guests receive the Google Calendar invitation, and email addresses are checked when you save, so an invalid one is rejected with a message.

Sync meetings to your company's Google Calendar

Turn on Sync to Google Calendar when you create a Google Meet meeting, and it is added to your company's Google Calendar. The option appears when the Calendar feature is active and Google Calendar sync is switched on in its settings. Changes to a meeting's title, time or description update the same calendar entry. Switching the sync off when you edit a meeting removes the calendar entry.

Deleting a meeting removes its calendar entry

Deleting a meeting removes its calendar entry too. If that entry cannot be removed, the meeting is kept and you are asked to try again, so the two never fall out of step.

Keep meetings in step with Google Calendar

Cancellations reach Google Calendar

Cancel a meeting here and it is removed from Google Calendar, and attendees receive the update.

Changes made in Google Calendar show here

If someone cancels or deletes the meeting directly in Google Calendar, it shows as Cancelled here within about 15 minutes.

The original Meet link is kept

Editing a meeting keeps its original Meet link, so people who already have it do not get a new link each time.

Status updates automatically

Meetings show as Started or Ended automatically, based on their start time and length. The only status you set yourself is cancelling.

Meeting times use your company's time zone

New meetings start at the right time

New meetings used to open with the wrong clock time for many time zones. They now start from your company's current time.

Editing shows your company's time zone

When you open a meeting to edit it, the start time is shown in your company's time zone.

Saved meetings appear correctly in Google Calendar

The meeting is saved at the time you chose, so it appears at the right time on Google Calendar.

Narrower Google access when you connect

When you connect Google Meet, Google now shows a smaller set of permissions to approve.

No full access to all your calendars

The connection no longer asks for full access to all of your calendars.

Create, change and delete meeting events

It asks to create, change and delete the calendar events for your meetings.

See your calendar list

It asks to see the list of calendars on your account, so you can pick one for your meetings.

See the connected email address

It asks to see the email address of the Google account you connect, so the settings page can show which account is linked.

Google Meet and Drive updates: connect from any page, pick a calendar

Connecting Google Meet and Google Drive is simpler, and the choice of calendar is yours.

Choose the Google Calendar your meetings go on

Each company can choose the Google Calendar that its Google Meet meetings are added to, instead of one shared calendar for everyone.

Pick any calendar in your Google account

After you connect Google Meet, a Meeting Calendar dropdown lists the calendars in your Google account. It starts on your primary calendar, and you can switch it to a shared team calendar if that suits you better.

Your choice applies to every meeting

Your choice is saved straight away and applies to every meeting you create, change or delete. It does not affect any other company using the platform.

Finish connecting Google Meet

Staff with permission can complete the connection

Staff members who have permission to manage Google Meet can now finish connecting it for your company.

The connection belongs to the company account

The connection is stored against your company account, not the staff member's personal login.

Meetings use one shared connection

Once connected, meetings and the calendar list use that one company connection, so everyone's meetings work the same way.

Return to the page you started on

Start the connection from any page

Start the connection from any page, and once Google finishes you are taken back to that same page.

A clear message after connecting

A message appears on screen confirming the connection worked, or explaining what went wrong.

Clear Integrate buttons and Drive messages

A greyed-out Integrate button explains why

If the platform administrator has not finished setting up a Google service, its Integrate button is greyed out, with a note explaining that the platform setup needs to be finished. Once it is finished, the button works as before.

A plain note when browsing Drive

Opening Google Drive on its own shows a plain note that you are browsing the root of Google Drive, instead of a warning about a missing folder.

Folder buttons appear only from a record

The folder assignment buttons appear only when you open Drive from a specific invoice or record.

GetBizApps attendance: QR clock-in, reminders and corrections

Seven attendance tools arrived together on 1 October. Corrections, shift change requests and QR clock-in stay off until you switch them on in Attendance Settings, so you choose what your team uses.

Clock in at the office with a QR code

Put a code on a screen at the front desk and let staff clock in with their phones in a few seconds.

A code that keeps changing

The office screen shows a QR code that refreshes every 30 seconds by default. Old codes are refused, so employees scan the code currently on the screen.

Scanning works without self clock-in

Scanning the office code is allowed even when employees are not allowed to clock themselves in from the app or website.

Office-area check skipped for scans

A scan counts as being at that office. Your allowed-network rule still applies.

A confirmation after each scan

After a successful scan, the employee sees which office they clocked in at, or a clock-out confirmation.

Set office areas and clock-in rules

Decide where and when your team can clock in, and keep those rules in one place.

Clock-ins only inside the office area

Clock-ins outside the office area are refused with a message. Employees can be assigned to an office location.

Remote clock-in for selected staff

Mark employees who may clock in from outside the office. Others are held to the office area.

Allowed networks

List the networks clock-ins are allowed from, such as your office Wi-Fi. These are managed inside Attendance Settings.

A switch for self clock-in

Turn off clock-in and clock-out by employees themselves. HR can still add attendance.

Automatic clock-in on first sign-in

An employee is clocked in on their first sign-in during their shift.

Clock-in after shift end

Choose whether employees may clock in once their shift is over.

Save clock-in location

Choose whether the position of each clock-in is kept on the record.

Correct missed or wrong punches

A forgotten punch no longer means a day stuck wrong in the records. The employee asks, and you decide.

Request corrected times for a day

The employee picks the date and enters the correct clock-in and clock-out. For a night shift, a clock-out earlier than the clock-in is read as the next day.

Set how far back and how often

Choose how many days back a correction can reach (7 by default), and how many corrections each employee can request per month. Zero means no monthly limit.

Approved times are recorded

Once approved, the requested times are written to that day's attendance.

Locked where it matters

A future date cannot be corrected, and a day whose salary has already been paid cannot be changed.

Approve shift change requests in one place

No more shift swaps agreed in chat and never written down. Every request is recorded and decided in the system.

Employees ask with a date and a shift

They choose the shift they want, a start date and an optional end date, and can add remarks.

One open request at a time

An employee can have only one request waiting for a decision, and can withdraw it while it is still pending.

You make the decision

Nobody can approve or reject their own request.

Permanent changes take effect when due

An approved permanent change on or after its start date becomes the employee's regular shift.

Clock-in and monthly attendance reminders

Fewer missed punches and less month-end chasing, with reminders and reports that send themselves.

Clock-in reminder by email

An employee who has not clocked in after their shift started is sent an email. It goes out 15 minutes after the start by default, and you can change the delay.

Optional clock-out reminder

An employee who is still clocked in after their shift ended gets an email too.

Sent once a day, and only when needed

Reminders are not sent on a closed day, a holiday, or a day of approved leave.

Monthly attendance email

On the 1st of each month, the roles you choose receive last month's attendance summary. If it cannot be sent that day, it is tried again during the first three days of the month.

Import attendance from a spreadsheet and export to Excel

Bring in attendance you already have, and get the month out of the system in a format your accountant can use.

Bulk import from a spreadsheet

Load attendance from a spreadsheet. Each row needs the employee (by email, employee ID or employee code), the date, and the clock-in and clock-out times. Notes are optional.

Choose what happens to existing days

For each import, decide whether a day that already has a record is replaced or skipped.

Excel export of the monthly register

Download the monthly register as an Excel file with one row per employee, one column per day, and totals. The export uses the filters on screen.

Late arrivals reduce pay automatically

Stop working out late-arrival deductions by hand. Payroll does it for you.

Set how late marks cost pay

Every set number of late marks can cost one day's salary, or a set number of hours of salary.

Optional half-day rule

When the late marks left over reach half of your set number, another half day is deducted.

Counted within each pay period

Late marks are not carried over from one pay period to the next.

Shown on the payslip

The number of late marks appears on the payslip, with the deduction.
