Facebook, Instagram and Messenger photos stop breaking
Profile photos and Instagram and Messenger attachments now stay in Bizwachat, so they no longer go blank after a few days when Meta's image links expire.
Bizwachat now keeps its own copy of the profile photos and Instagram and Messenger attachments you receive, so they stay visible instead of going blank after a few days.
What you gain
Images from Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, LinkedIn and TikTok were shown through links that Meta and the other networks expire. Once a link expired, the picture disappeared from your screens, and an attachment a customer sent you could show "Image unavailable" in the inbox. Bizwachat now saves a copy when it receives the image, so your team sees the same picture days and weeks later.
Profile photos across your social accounts
Every connected account's profile photo is kept with Bizwachat. You will see it in the post composer's "Post to" list, on the calendar, on your posts, and on the Social Accounts page. Photos for Meta lead pages and for Instagram and Messenger contacts are kept the same way. A photo you uploaded yourself is never replaced by a network photo.
Instagram and Messenger attachments in the inbox
Photos, videos, audio, files and stickers that customers send through Instagram or Messenger are saved as soon as they arrive. Your team can open them from the conversation at any time, even after the original link has expired. If Meta no longer serves a file at all, the message says so, and the rest of the conversation keeps working.
Where to find it
Open Social Media in the sidebar and select Social Accounts to see your saved profile photos. Open Inbox to view Instagram and Messenger attachments. Anyone in your workspace who can use these pages sees the saved copies. No plan change or setting is needed.
