Store credit at checkout

When a customer pays more than they owe, the extra amount is no longer left sitting as a confusing negative balance — it becomes store credit on their account that can be reused on a future purchase.

Apply it like any other tender

At the till, cashiers can apply all or part of a customer's available credit toward a sale as its own payment method, alongside cash, card, or other tenders.

Voids return the credit

If a sale paid with store credit is voided, the credit goes back to the customer's account automatically.

Batch-wise pricing

You can now keep a separate cost, selling price, and MRP for each batch of a product — useful when the same item arrives at a different price each time it's restocked. Turn it on under Settings → Pricing; your existing stock keeps its current prices as a safe fallback, so nothing changes until you opt in.

Prices follow the batch everywhere

Batch prices flow through purchases, stock adjustments, and store transfers automatically. At the till, the cashier screen shows the price of the batch that will actually be picked for the sale.

Visible in your stock reports

Available Stock and its exports now break down quantity and pricing batch by batch, instead of showing a single blended figure per product.

Install and manage plugins

Add-on plugins are no longer something only a developer can turn on. From Settings → Plugins, a store owner can install a plugin, switch it on, or disable it again — all without outside help.

Instagram direct messages now arrive reliably in your inbox

Instagram direct messages now arrive in your Bizwachat inbox reliably. Previously, some inbound Instagram DMs could go missing before ever reaching your inbox, with no indication anything was wrong.

Attachments show up properly

Photos, videos, story mentions, and shared posts sent to you on Instagram now appear with their content intact instead of showing up as an empty message.

Replies from the Instagram app show up too

If you or a teammate reply to a customer from the Instagram app itself, that reply now appears in the same conversation thread in Bizwachat.

Automatic retry on failure

If a message fails to process the first time, it's retried automatically instead of being silently discarded.

More accurate consent tracking and a complete compliance audit trail

Consent status for each contact and channel — WhatsApp, SMS, email, Instagram, and Messenger — is now tracked as one of three states: opted in, opted out, or never asked. Previously, some channels could only represent "opted in" or "opted out," which meant a contact who had never actually been asked could show an inaccurate status in your Compliance Registry.

One consistent rule for opt-outs

A contact's first message on a channel now counts as opt-in on that channel if their status was previously unknown. An explicit STOP is always respected and is never silently reversed by an incoming message — only a clear opt-back-in action reverses it. This rule now applies consistently across WhatsApp, Instagram, and Messenger.

A single, complete audit trail

Every consent change — however it happens, including through CSV imports — is now recorded in one place, so the Compliance Registry reflects a complete and accurate history for every contact.

AI Social Media Agent — hands-off content on a schedule

The AI Social Media Agent takes over the recurring work of keeping your social accounts active. Set it up once through a guided walkthrough — your brand voice pulled from your website, suggested audiences, content focus, personalization, posting schedule, and target accounts — and it generates posts and matching images on a weekly, biweekly, or monthly cadence from then on.

Review first, or let it run

Choose whether generated posts land as drafts for your review or publish automatically. Every batch the agent generates is tracked, so you can see exactly what it produced and when.

Plan for an agent or specific accounts

The AI Post Planner now lets you choose upfront whether you're planning for a social agent — which automatically targets that agent's linked account and writes in its established brand voice — or picking specific accounts by hand, which now starts empty so nothing gets posted somewhere by accident.

AI Chatbot — automated conversations for WhatsApp

Bizwachat now includes an AI Chatbot that can hold WhatsApp conversations on your behalf. Configure when it's active — working hours, days off — what it's trying to accomplish, and give it a knowledge base to answer from, and it takes conversations from greeting through resolution or a clean handoff to your team.

Built-in goals, including a Support preset

Set the chatbot's objective — such as the ready-to-use Support preset — and it steers conversations toward that goal, capturing key information from the customer along the way.

Answers from your own knowledge base

Upload your own documents and the chatbot answers from that structured knowledge instead of improvising, and you can review or edit that knowledge directly in the app.

Knows when to hand off

The chatbot recognizes when it can't help further and hands the conversation to a human — clearly telling the customer a handover is happening — and once handed back to your team, it won't jump back in and re-escalate.

Visibility into how it's performing

A reporting and health view shows how the chatbot is performing per workspace, so you can see effectiveness at a glance rather than reading through transcripts.

Create your own payment methods

Not every payment your store accepts fits neatly into "cash" or "card." You can now define your own offline tender types — Mobile Money, store vouchers, whatever your customers actually use — and record sales against them.

A reference number, not a live connection

These are bookkeeping tenders, not payment processors: nothing connects to an external gateway. Instead, each one asks for a customer reference number at the point of sale, giving you something to reconcile against later.
